She was. It wasn't super obvious during the show but someone who works on the show tweeted a picture of her missing the ear.

almost the entire season of The Americans is still sitting there. Will delete today.
The Americans is awesome. I looked forward to Hannibal as much as Americans. This was a really good season too, so if you delete

Hmm... Hannibal without Clarice or Clarice without Hannibal... I think NBC made out on the right side of that deal.
I agree. Fuller says he tried to work out a deal that would benefit both productions but MGM was unwilling to negotiate.

Yeah, Fuller won that one.
He gets Hannibal and Will is amply replacing the concept of Clarice anyway.

Who wants to watch a show about Clarice without Hannibal?

A show with just Clarice?
The negotiaters must've been super hung over that day.
ETA: what a fricking finale!

Here's a new interview with Hugh Dancy where he discusses the finale and what is ahead in season three for Will and Hannibal. LINK

Because it was such a massive finale, were any of the sequences particularly challenging for you?
DANCY: That whole last sequence in the kitchen. We shot a 20-hour day, or something like that. We did two scenes before it, and then had to go into that. It was midnight or one in the morning and we’d worked a full day, and then I had to get cut open and witness Abigail getting her throat cut, 27 times.

I don't like the idea of cramming two seasons into one

quote:
Season 3 of Hannibal is almost going to adopt the AMC model of splitting a season – a slight change of plans from how he first conceived the show. “We are on track with the original plan with the one exception of condensing what was to have been Season 3 and Season 4 all into one season now,” he says. “So, the first half of the season will have its finale that reaches a climax and wraps up that story in a great way, and then we start a new story, and then that will have its own climax at the end of the season, the EP explains. “Two separate stories that’ll have two finales and so you get two seasons for the price of one.”
