I usually just ask them, "Does your mother know her son is an idiot?"

I've had friends become conspiracy nuts. I don't hang out with them anymore.

My friend became one. He started thinking that Alex Jones was the smartest person on the planet. I found some of his theories to be funny and/or interesting but after a while that was all he talked about.

Only met him once so I don't think I need to go seek him out.

FYI, IPV6 is a tool of the devil that the government controls.

There's a Peep Show episode where Mark accidentally makes friends with a Nazi. Great stuff.

I have a good friend that is crazy about all the conspiracies, I enjoy talking about them with him for a good laugh. He believes the government controls the weather and something about all politicians are actually reptiles or some shite.

Played in a soccer game with a couple of friends and we went for a beer afterwards. This new guy comes along and he seemed pretty cool. Then someone brought up the topic of money and this guy goes off on "government oppression". This leads to a myriad of conspiracy theories the guy has for a good 30 minutes. The guy that brought him mouthes, "Sorry" and the whole night was ruined.

some conspiracy theories can be thought provoking, but others are just absolutely laughable..a few I've heard in the past:

the government invented crack cocaine to wipe out
the African American race.

the twin towers never fell, and are actually still there, surrounded by an invisible force field.

the entire Republican party engaged in mass child-rape orgies and murdered them.

my personal favorite is those who believe we really didn't go to the moon. people seriously believe some really dumb and stupid shite, and it genuinely worries me.

There are many types of conspiracists.

The ones that haven't figured out that Alex Jones is a shill are the worst kind. The Loose Change and Zeitgeist quoters are awful.

Most conspirators lack intellectual capacity, they watch some youtube stuff and regurgitate it online.

But there is more serious stuff out there that is galaxies away from the Alex Jones-youtube documentary realm.

For me I find it crazy to believe the official 911 story.

"Dude you've never heard of how (insert conspiracy here)?! Seriously, the shite is nuts the (insert government entity/ media etc,) is completely full of shite. Go to youtube and search (title of shitty quality, conveniently edited, with stupid captions zooming in on random parts of pictures or people, "truth" video). After you watch that tell me you aren't blown away. The (repeat entity) is messed up dude."

Typical spiel from them now-a-days
