Week 9 of 52 Golf Thread

Congrats to him

A buddy of mine holed his 3rd, hole in one last summer. 138 yard, 9 iron. I was on the tee box with him and saw it roll into the hole. I was pumped, just seeing it. On Friday this week, the same guy, with a couple of our friends takes a 3 day golf trip to Tampa. wouldn't you know it, holes a another one, that makes 4, 159 yard 6 iron into the wind. He owns a single digit cap FWIW.

Got to hit the range twice this weekend. Smashing irons and trying to shake a slice from the driver. Watched so much golf this past weekend...now in a company kickoff meeting for the next 3 hours...

I feel your pain. I've only witnessed one so far and have seen many hit the pole or go around the cup. My closest hit the pole on the 2nd bounce and fell about 4 inches short.

What is verticutting? Is it cutting the ends of the blades of grass into strips?

Just lost control of potentially my best round ever.
Started -3 through 6.
On 7 I was 10 feet for birdie, straight putt. 3 putt bogie LAB.
On 8, duff chip, get bogie.
