They make some damn good smoke boudin and great cracklin. I mostly hear about Don's but not much on Best Stop Anyone else care to share opinions?

See the similar thread. Their smoked is good, but they microwave it to order. Billy's smoked is better. I do like their cracklins and fresh meats in the fridge section.

Best Stop is called that for a reason. I don't get the smoked cuz the regular is great. Billy's has good boudin too. Don's. Meh.

Best stop is my favorite for boudin and jerky. I haven't found my fave cracklin due to lack of consistency across the board.

Ironic that there's a thread on this today. I moved to Lafayette a couple months back for work and was talking to my BIL yesterday and he suggested I go to best stop and get the smoked boudin. When you guys say Billy's, are y'all talking about the place off of I-49 towards Opelousas. Billy's and Rays or something? I've had some from there and it's really good as well. I believe it was the hot kind so it must've been Billy's

Boudin is good, but Nu Nu's in Milton is better IMO.

I went once and wasn't impressed. I didn't get the smoked though.
