In SLA and in stained or murky water, I have had lots of success this time of year on junebug with chartreuse tail lizards.
In NWLA the water is usually clearer and I find myself throwing white chatterbaits, red traps, and watermelon red brush hogs.
Whats your favorite lures, techniques and tactics for this time of year?

Watermelon red lizards and brush hogs . Chartreuse and white war eagle spinnerbaits . And bandit mistake crankbaits . 100 series. If I'm bed fishing I'll throw a wacky rigged pearl senko a good bit also

I throw Polar Pops. Thats what the urban youth in cedar grove call a weightless senko...not sure why.

What I have found best for spring bass, especially when they are on there beds and getting ready to move on them is a 4-5 inch bream with a kahle hook through his back. I will go to town on the bass every year with this setup, it works.
Pulled some big stringer out in my time would make you lure fisherman very jealous
