I bought a Shield 9 last weekend for my everyday carry so don't take this as being argumentative, just curious.

One of the reason Glock lovers hate 1911's is because of capacity. They will argue "Why give up the 7-8 rds. Just for a little extra power?".
Those same people will then turn around and reccomeded a Shield 9 or 40 as a carry weapon. Again, I have no problem with this, I just wonder why the shield is worthy to be carried but the 1911 isn't.

I've never heard that.

To me it's a question of size.

Different sized guns

Full sized glock capacity is double a full sized 1911 capacity

The Shield is worthy of being an excellent BUG. At least that's what mine is for.

The shield is a good little gun and I'm guilty if carrying it alone too much but I try to carry a gun with a little higher capacity but I don't understand why people have such confidence in such low round count.
