His mom has been battling cancer, but supposedly (and I have no link) her prognosis is good.

I never thought he'd flip (look up my posting history, braaaah) just because he was a long-time commit and very, VERY excited about being in Chavis's scheme and being the next Mingo/Sam guy. He has been in love with the P&G and our staff for a while.

Plus, he had a sincere dislike for OU. Call it the same familiarity that breeds contempt that we experience with NOLA guys. Who knows. Either way, he's a done deal and momma supports him. (her sig is on that LOI, too!)

Although I'm happy that he's a tiger, I would have had no problem with him flipping to be closer to home. I imagine it's tough to leave home with a sick mom. Best of luck to his family and welcome aboard.

This.

During the end of last year and summer, her prognosis wasnt good. And thats when he wasnt sure where he would go. And thats expected from anyone in his position. That would make a college decision that much harder and emotional.

Then after she went through treatment and what not, they got the news that her prognosis has improved and is good. Which is awesome.

And meauxses, i think we all feel that way about him
