merkur 38hd or the EJ DE 89lbl. I'm looking into the 180

I went 38hd over 180 because it was heavier and something in my mind said 'that means it's probably better built/will last longer.' It likely isn't true. If I could go back, I would start with this one.

Anyone use a synthetic brush?

Looking to buy one but waiting for more feedback. I just cant see paying $100-200 + for a top end badger brush.

Want a bigger one though. I have a small entry level cheapo. Feels about as good as a paint brush on my face.

To whoever asked about brush care after shaves. Hang upside down from rack. Take them into the shower with you and wash the brush like your hair. Using same shampoo etc. It is hair you are washing so it makes sense.
