DOTD updates this as roads are opened or closed. All updates occur here first as they are the authority on when interstates and state highways will open/close. Not LSP, or local PD.

This says I-10 between BR and LaPlace is closed. Still true? Only ask because I came through before the bad shite this morning and am hoping to make it home tonight.

Well they show major roads but the bridge over Siegen is closed and I can't find a map that shows it.

I went to the fricking store for 30 god damn minutes. On the way back, airline was closed going back home into Baton Rouge. Fine. I'll take old Jefferson. I get to the bridge that is almost to my neighborhood in old Jefferson and a head on collision happened RIGHT before I arrived. Police weren't even there yet.
I tried to pass, no way. One of the guys said one of the little punks got out and ran. The cars were totaled. I could hear the ambulances coming, bridge was covered in ice. Guy said this car was hauling arse over the bridge
fricking IDIOTS. And he ran.
So whatever bridge this is on old Jefferson by 42. It's closed for sure.

Damn you can't even get into St. Bernard and the westbank bank is starting to get really hard to get also. My brother has been stuck on top of the CCC for the last hour and he's pretty much not moving.
