Saw a nice adjustment out of Upton recently and the past two games the results showed.

I had it at $14 yesterday morning, then he looked good against Gio and wanted to make sure I get him.

I'm only picking him up in DAT because you spent 33 bucks.

I'll tell you this Papz ... I noticed the difference immediately in the mechanics of his swing -- then he produced a 4-for-10 outcome the past two games.

Now, I'm just reading this. From three days ago.

quote:

“He’s [Upton] got a little extra hinge with his hands that is taking his bat past perpendicular,” said Jones. “Whenever you do that, your back elbow comes up and in order to get the bat back to swing, your elbow has to come down and the bat path loops. “He’s got this upward plane. With the ball low, he’ll be able to hit. With a pitch up around thigh high, he’s going to have trouble. He’s going to be behind it, he’s going to be coming around it, trying to get out of his own way.”

Last time I remember Chipper fixing an old teammates' swing, was VKC's boy, Kelly Johnson, celebrated 25 home run season.

I'd like for him to use one of these.

Yeah I saw the same thing. I watched a interview about Chipper talking about BJ Upton and the adjustments he needed to make.

I saw the Chipper thing too. I believe he can still be a productive asset. $33 just seems like you outsmarted yourself in the bidding.

Outsmarted?

Nah.

The question is will he be worth it? And if not, I'll drop him.

I wanted Upton before I even knew Chipper helped with his swing. It was quite noticeable the last two games, to me, at least.

I wanted him, I got him. I already said multiple times that I'll be out of money by the end of May.

I saw your trade Thomas (same as before). Votto is on a tear, so now I am a little reluctant.

Any option to see your projected IP -- whether you're over or under -- from this point forward, like Yahoo! had?
