They would. And they did. Bush was an admitted alcoholic.

I believe the no drug language is boilerplate.

Not that I'm defending Davis. It's very unusual for this to happen in TX. She's only said she was "not in a good place"...

Her alleged drug use was barely mentioned in this thread.

Right. It's just in the title.

I think she also castigated Stevie Wonder for not being able to see her point of view.

I hope you're being sarcastic and haven't forgotten that Texas elected W governor.
Did he admit to using drugs or is that just some crap his opponents threw at him during a bitter election?

VB bringing up Bush???? That's as unexpected as Toddy bringing up gay marriage.

Yes and she told him to walk a mile in her shoes.

It would be insensitive if Abbott was a D though. That's for sure. It would be a war on the handicapped.

Wendy Davis needs a man just like a fish needs a rich bicycle who will pay for her college and take care of her spawn and will not worry about whether she's drunk or high when she picks up her kids which are a nuisance in her political career.

Is it really boilerplate? It isn't in Louisiana. Someone has to ask for it and have a reason to support that request. It sounds like there was more in that divorce than has come out.

But then, like you said, it probably would not matter anyway.

1. I didn't bring up Bush so you're lying. I answered a question re Bush.

2. Toddy doesn't bring up the ghey nearly as much as dark hose who has started 5 straight threads this week.

3. You're becoming as obsessed with me as that trannie Karla.

Thanks Katy

I don't believe people care about drug use in the past nor pot use in the present. I don't think Davis has a chance here but it won't be because her ex allegedly accused her of using drugs 10 years ago.

Honesty is the biggest question with this issue and other slight modifications in the biography she has promoted.
