Try twice that. A 30", gas only in stainless steel is $4500 locally. Expect to pay extra for special colors or a top configuration other than 4 burners. That said, it's a slide-in range, so you can take it with you when you move.

Oh jeez, it's been a while since I looked. I have a 36" range I was thinking about replacing years ago and I thought Blue Star was priced more competitively than the other brands. That's not why I wanted it, I just thought unsealed burners with a gas oven would run a bit cheaper.
