Gosh we already have the most d-leaguers in NBA can we get another??
Lou Amundson come on down! I love our "bandaid" approach

Ajinca has a PER of above 13 in extremely limited minutes. Is there something in his contract that he gets paid more if he averages above 15 mpg?

I just really hope we can land at least an average NBA Center at some point in Davis' career.

He fouls too much. Until he stops reaching, he can only play as long as his fouls allow.

I think the only thing about his contract in his favor is it's guaranteed. And a PER of 13 isn't really good unless you're comparing him to Stiemsma Withey has a PER over 18. He's practically a fringe All Star and can't get minutes

That PER will fall against better players, but we'll see what they're made of soon.

he hasn't fouled out yet that I can recall. may as well let him play till he fouls out.

it's below average (15), but what i'm arguing is that with more minutes, it could increase as he gets better.
as far as Withey goes, I wish Monty would play him more.

It was a tongue in cheek remark. Speaking of limited minutes vs. backups advanced stats monsters, does anyone remember how Aaron Gray was on defense? Was he as bad as Anjica when he wasn't playing another lumbering big or Dwight? Because he's wasting away in Sacramento after being a throw in to the Gay trade.

On the one hand it looks like the Bucks want to trade Larry Sanders and rebuild meaning Sanders for Gordon wouldn't work.
LINK
On the other hand, it sounds like their owner is still too cheap to go through an actual rebuild, meaning Gordon for Sanders and Mayo might work for them.
Also from that article, OJ Mayo has recently started publicly complaining about his role on the team, so Gordon for Sanders and Mayo considering the ownership mandate doesn't seem that crazy.

-- Final Bucks note: Unlike a lot of other struggling organizations, Bucks GM John Hammond and especially, owner Herb Kohl, don't want to undertake a long rebuilding plan that involves few reasons to be excited. Sources indicated the Bucks would be more than willing to trade for veterans who could offer immediate (as opposed to focusing only on starting a major youth movement).

What if they asked for Evans in a Sanders deal?
I'd say yes
I'd say yes

OJ Mayo can shoot and in my mind you can never have enough shooters
Sanders is a young cat more of a defensive presence and I'd be very intrigued to see him next to AD
Even though we would get 2 players on arguably the worst team in the NBA I think I could support trading either Gordon or Reke for those two

Both of those guys could be considered buy-low candidates right now, but I have concerns.
Sanders has become something of a head case since signing that big deal. His numbers will increase drastically going $3M this year to $11 next year. If he continues on the trend that he's on right now, I would be really worried about him becoming a very burdensome contract for a long time.
As for Mayo, he's been pretty mediocre since about mid-season last year with the Mavs, and now he doesn't like his role with the Bucks. The situation here isn't much better. Not to mention he's making $8M per season this year and the next two.
Combined, they're making $18M a year compared to $15M a year just for Gordon. However, after next year, he has a player option, and he could be treated like an expiring contract, especially if he goes to Milwaukee and wants out.
Both Mayo and Sanders could become very undesirable/overpaid players quickly, much like Ben Gordon and Charlie Villanueva a few years ago.
On the other hand, if they regain their form from last year, they would make this team a very deep one. Mayo could be a combo guard off the bench, and Sanders could combine with Davis to make the most intimidating defensive front court in the NBA.
The big question: Do the benefits outweigh the costs?

You are aware how fricking terrible Mayo and Sanders have been this season, right?

If we're going to make a trade with Gordon let's do it with an expiring contract and start over
Not sign two other overpaid players with shitty attitudes. I used to love Sanders, but now I'm not real sure he's actually anything special, or even really above average

As fast as those small ball implementation came, that bull is leaving just as fast. I can't believe the fan base ate the cheese and actually believed that sales pitch. I don't know what's scarier here, the fan base buying into it or the staff actually believed in that nonsense.

Which means what, exactly?
Evans was fricking horrible his first twenty games this season
Sanders has been hurt
Mayo has been proven to be a good scorer but I don't really care about acquiring him. He wouldn't accept his role on this team either
Sanders would be the main get. Interior defense and rebounding have been horrid
