he will never be HC material ever again..He had his chance and failed miserably. Just like MS..the Peter principal is a reality with coach O.

Kiffin has failed miserably at every head coaching job he had ever had....and will get be another head coach, that you can count on.

Small tidbit from Roussel

quote:

@coachingsearch: Several coaches here at the coaches' convention believe Saban will target Brick Haley, which could lead to Ed Orgeron joining LSU.

Watch the same posters talking shite about us picking up Orgeron will be the same ones over the moon if LSU gets him.

I really hope we don't pass on Orgeron.

I will do naked backflips if we somehow come out of all off this shakeup with Orgeron on the LSU staff. That guy will make it tough on outsiders in the state of Louisiana. If he ends up at Bama, Les' job gets a lot tougher.

Im sorry but O isn't half the Dline coach that Haley is. There are some solid reasons the NFL wants Brick back.

yep. should have been on our staff 5 years ago but lane got him at the last second to come to UT. maybe things will work out better for us this time.

No shite but if we lose Brick I'd gladly take O on this staff.

Awesome. Excitement for a lesser D line coach. Makes total sense.

How can O do wonders for LSU recruiting if he's the DL coach and RC at AlaFrickinbama?

Can somebody close to Les please geaux wake the guy up out of the deep comatose state he's apparently in!

I'm sure he'd of stock around for a actual good coach. I'd be hurt if I was replaced for mediocrity like sark.
For all you die hard sark and USC fans he will be a bad hire for one reason - mora is taking ucla to a level right now were USC can't compete with them

OK pal. USC's sanctions are nearly over. We've managed two 10 win seasons in the midst of all that mess and we'll only get better when we get all of our schollies back. Mora is a good coach and he's done a great job for the bruins, but USC is the only football school in LA.

Lol whatever

It's a double win for LSU. Keeps bama from having a bigger grab in LA, and it helps LSU instate at the same time

Brick leaving wouldn't be mutual. Getting a great recruiter like O and at the same time keeping him from Alabama is a HUGE fricking win

But Orgeron already has titles at USC and Miami so I doubt he cares.

Orgeron isn't coming to Alabama. It was just internet speculation.

Why won't Bama hire Orgeron?
I keep hearing he's amazing at everything...pffft

Ridiculous.

I just think it'd be awful from a PR perspective if Bama came in and took Brick from us. I am all for Ed O finding his way on to our staff (solid national recruiter too), but I'd rather Brick

I don't want that clown anywhere near the LSU program.

Would you recruit a player with a questionable reputation and checkered past?
Then why are so many enthused about a coach with that background?
