What modern convenience would you miss the most?

Can't decide between either heating/AC or current waste/sanitation "luxuries"

Refrigeration of food.

Electricity.

Indoor plumbing. I would get tired of walking through human excrement dumped out of windows all day.

Something to ward off the Bubonic Plague.

I could care less about AC/Heat. There are ways around that. But, there are so many things that we just take for granted involving waste management and food preservation that I think that if we didn't have that, life would be pretty miserable.

Easy access to food

I'm not much of a hunter, but I'm sure I could adapt to it..but it would take some getting used to.

It would totally depend on my locale as to what I would miss the most. Where are we located in this time transport? For example, if I'm in Hawaii, I wouldn't give a shite about a/c or electricity.

modern English

I probably wouldn't know what the frick people were talking about half the time and would get myself killed using a word that has changed meaning over time.

Waste management/indoor plumbing. Heat/cold not a big deal. I've spent weeks without either in shitty conditions.

You wouldn't have to go back to 1400 AD to not have those things.

Can you imagine living on a southern plantation in 1800 during the Summer?

Skinny girls, being fat was considered ideal back then.

Everything else I could invent.

Water-heaters. I'm in Bahawlpur, Pakistan right now and waterheaters do not seem to exist here. Taking a shower here is pouring water over yourself using a pail and tapwater. Taking a "shower" in 20 degree weather with no hot water is fricking hell.
