Twitter UPDATES:

@MHarrisAdvocate 8m
Four #LSU underclassmen still need to declare intentions: Hill, Landry, Beckham and Collins. All between 2nd-3rd round grades.

I had heard that Trai Turner was likely to head to the NFL. Curious to see what happens with La'el Collins.

As @treylabat_TDR points out: Same agency that announced Trai Turner also announced Ego Ferguson joined. #LSU

But, players leaving is great for LSU and recruiting. . .

get the sarcasm. will respond anyway.

it's not good when you start to avg 3 losses a season. inexperienced players and above avg coaching is not a good mix.

he better train hard for the draft because he looks tremendously out of shape.

Needs a longer jersey to cover up the results of holiday decadence.

Hope Turner comes back, but if he enters the draft, I hope it works out for him.

Except there is a good chance he wont be making money doing that next year either. No guarantees on making a roster.

For all the posters who think LSU has all of this 1st Rd talent.

@MHarrisAdvocate 4m
CBS analyst Rob Rang has OBJ as a late 1st to early 2nd rounder. Landry as a 2nd rounder. Collins as 2nd rounder. Hill in the third. #LSU

So for now on it's safe to assume that every single junior on the team is going to leave every off-season regardless of if they will actually get drafted or not

Fantastic

this can't keep happining. Les has got to start keeping some of these fringe RS Soph and Juniors around. Do they not see what happened to Sam and the others that are struggling to stay on teams? Is a very paltry Signing Bonus worth wasting another year of progress and work?

it irks the GD shite out of me.

@garlandgillen: RT @DellengerAdv: Athletes' Performance trains players for NFL Combine. It's not an agency. Doesn't mean players who join are declaring

Yes they are getting bad advise. They are listening to people who profit from their mistake with no consequences to the agent.

reading above it sounds like he signed with an Agent. WTF is this agent?

If he is still there in the 3rd round I will be shocked. Some team will grab him late first early second.

This cripples and handicaps the team. We now have no experienced interior presence on defense. And will possibly lose two oline men with a freshman QB. Juice, Odell, and Lael I can understand, but Trai can benefit another year and Freak and Ego have been mediocre.

I'm starting to agree with the idea of not redshirting kids as much. Hurts a lot less losing a junior than it does a sophomore. At least get 3 years out of a kid. I used to think "Hey, if he's declaring, then he must have had a fantastic season and really produced, or he graduated early or something." But apparently you just declare for shits and giggles nowadays. There is something seriously wrong with whatever we're doing to convince our guys to stay in school

i assume that most of these kids assume that leaving early, without a high draft grade, simply puts them closer to the second pro contract. which we know is where the real money is for a few of them.

However, without the guarantee of making a roster, what are their options?

oh yeah, a freaking free degree. what a waste many of these young athletes are.
