I have to make an 11 hour drive on Friday all by my lonesome. I made a solid 12 hour playlist on my iPod, but I don't know if that will suffice. Anyone have any good tips/tricks for surviving an 11 hour drive by yourself?

This may sound weird but masturbating works. I once blew 3 loads on a 5 hour trip to L.A.. The first one was quick, the second one took about 10 minutes and the third was like an hour so it took up a lot of the time. Plus I would have some coffee and a smoke after each one. Just set the car on cruise control when you aren't around a lot of cars and go to town.

Also, you should talk on the phone as much as possible, that kills time, and eat a ton of seeds. If you have any books on tape those are good. Personally I would break it up into 5 hour segments, and crash in a motel for 3-4 hours in between, but if you must do it all in one trip try the things I said along with some advice from other posters.

ETA: This is EASILY the best advice

I just listen to a lot of different music. Make frequent stops if I feel like it. Sing loud in the car to my guilty pleasure music (NKOTB). Talk to friends on the phone (hands free of course). Have a cooler in the front seat with red bulls and water and lots of snacks I can easily eat while driving.

Did that on the 23 hour drive from BR to PHX by myself
