This is actually one of the first movies I've seen to accurately portray how military operations are executed. This is definetly going to receive multiple looks from me and will be a historically great military movie.

Saw the making of Lone Survivor on HBO. Lutrell and other SEALS were intimately involved with the production.

I'm 30 min in and it's great. Only thing I'm curious about is the terrain. Are areas of Afghanistan forested like I'm seeing so far?

I love Oscar season!! Movies are leaked early every year. Last year I watched Lincoln, Argo, and Zero Dark Thirty all before they were released. In perfect dvd quality.

10 min of pornographic violence seeing the bad guys kill the SEALs in unnecessary detail.
20 min of heavy handedness so we understand all Muslims are not bad.
It tried to be Platoon but didn't get there.

I just finished watching. Movie was great, them falling down the hills was one of the more painful looking things I've seen in a movie.

I don't know what that means.
But I would need a DVD copy of it to accomplish what I'd like to...bunch of my friends want to watch this one, and I figured we could maybe watch it at their house if I could somehow get it on a disc.

bro get with the times, all you need to do is download the torrent from the site (use utorrent) put it on a usb drive and plug it into someones blu ray player, xbox, or ps3
the invite is to a private site where you can download it and not worry about it being fake or a virus

I'm more thinking about where I'd be taking it to....don't believe they'd be able to play it (unless DirecTV boxes have USB inputs). They certainly don't have BR, XB, or PS.
