The book is probably the single greatest story I have ever read/heard/seen, period.

I know how this would be cool, but I love watching movies like this in theater with surround sound on the HD screens. \

I agree.

Some people are just cheap as dirt and will do anything to justify their blatant act of theft.

Yup there have been lots of good books based on accounts of the Afghan an Iraq wars.

Interesting, amazing to read, and disheartening with decisions made by leaders.

agree 100% with the above poster, Lone Survivor is a must see in theaters, you get the full battle experience and i like feeling the emotion with a room full of people

streaming it from a computer isnt the same. please go see it in theaters even if you are streaming it

Mine Lone Survivor perfect, at least DVD quality. The American Hustle was good, not amazing, but that was probably because I DL'ed one with a smaller file size.

I watched it on my 60 inch with better surround sound than a theatre, it was AWESOME!!!!!

It has nothing to do with being cheap, I just wanted to watch it last night. If there was an option to watch it on iTunes, PPV or something I would have had no problem with paying for it.

Call me old school (or honest I should say), but I'm not down with stealing movies like that that.

Especially if it's actors and movies that I enjoy. I don't mind spending the $7-9 on a ticket to support it.

Agreed, I hate the quality of streaming even if it were legit. 35/5 MB internet an it still looks poor.

This movie a benefit of the proceeds will go to the families or the wounded warrior project and other good causes I'd imagine.

I've been waiting for this to come out for a while. I watched online, but will be going see it quite a few times I'm sure, with my brothers here on base. Great movie, the ending tore me up though. I am a part of this career, not to the extent they lived it, but it really makes you feel small. RIP to those who gave all.

The book is even better IMO, but the film was great as well. I may see it in the theaters as well.
