Jalen Collins

The LB corp being good

Freak (though I think dude was hurt all yr)

The OL being a dominant run blocking group. They weren't bad, just thought they'd be a nasty bunch, particularly in the interior.

I expected LSU to be 8 - 4 at best.
I expected the defense to be a little better.
I expected ZM not to have as good of year he did.
I expected the offense not to be as good as they were.
I expected to beat OM and loose to Texas A&M.
***********************************************
I expect Iowa to give them more than they want unless they come to play.

Our offense was much better than I thought possible.

Our defense took a further step back than I expected, although it wasn't as bad as some claimed.

I was blindsided by how bad our fan support was this year.

I thought the Linebackers would be more of a strength than they were. Tackling was admittedly bad.

I did predict a 9-3 team though, and I had the defense as a question mark. This team did not reload on defense they took a step back and it was contributed to youth. The defense will be better next year and championship caliber in two years.

The good, I didn't think OBJ would have kept pace with Landry. I thought Landry would separate himself from OBJ by a large margin.

The bad, I thought our D Line would be much better than they were. They were pretty much a red carpet most of the time.

I thought the linebackers would be good. I thought our running game and OL would be better. I thought kicking would be worse. Everything else was about right on.

I was wrong about Mett. I thought he was barely a step up from JJ and Lee, but he was a top 10 QB in the nation this year. I was right about the defense taking a big step back from years past though.

I posted multiple times that I thought Ole Miss was going to beat us, a HEALTHY ole miss though. I thought out linebackers were going to he our strongest unit on the team, and I thought our offensive line was finally going to become elite and catch the eye of Robinson. I am no longer a Stud supporter after this season

Yup. Didn't anticipate how badly the departures would affect us.

I thought the defense would not fall off much with the early defections. It took them much longer to come around than I thought. I think they will be back to form next year.

I thought Hill was going to rush for 1600+ yards and be the best back since 1959 at LSU.

Mett and the WR's clearly exceeded my expectations especially Mett. I thought he was soft and lacked leadership.

I called losses to Ole Miss and Georgia.
I thought we would beat Bama.
I thought our lbs would be better and interchangeable.
I thought the crowd would sustain the legendary raucousness we have become famous for.
I thought Brazil would be a breakthrough return guy.
All in all it looked a lot like I thought it would.
