The finale of Chuck was a bit disappointing because while you can understand what the writers were trying to do

I just think that the direction the writers tried to take the show went against what the show was about. Instead of driving the show as a comedy, they tried to take a more dramatic approach. At the heart of the show, it was a comedy (a romantic comedy, but still a comedy). I think the writers lost sight of that, especially in the last 3 or so episodes (which were a lot more emotionally hard to take than I prefer in comedies).

Maybe I'm in the minority when it comes to the overall 5th season, but those last 3 episodes were hard to take as a series ender for me and a lot of their fans. I guess if they would've left it at the Christmas episode, I might've had a better view of the season as a whole.

Dammit. you people are making me want to watch it from the beginning again. (not that that is a bad thing; especially with the downtime with no new shows)

I don't remember much about season 5, but i remember liking how it ended. Will definitely have to watch it again.

Plethora of hot women come through during the show.

Lou the Sandwich Girl is still my #1 TV show crush.

Rachel Bilson AND she makes sandwiches for a living.

Season 5 was definitely worse than the previous 4, but its absolutely still worth watching.

And I didn't hate the ending. I thought they actually wrapped it up as well as they could have

I started watching from season 1 over the weekend. Man, I sure miss this show. I'm already halfway through season 2.

A lot of stuff I can remember from season 5 makes more sense now.

Emotionally hard? That's an understatement. I re-watched the whole series the week before it was put on Netflix, and I had literally forgotten most of the stuff that occurred so long ago.

Once I got to the third to last episode and realized what happened, I shut it down. I can't bear to watch that shite again - not because I hated it, but because it gave me some intense feels. I remembered throwing my remote at the tv at the last scene.

how can more chuck be a disappointment? that is nonsense

I guess from a glass half full perspective you're right, but it was really lacking a lot of what makes Chuck great. Usually when I don't like an episode there's not enough Buy More and Jeffster.

For me Season 4 Ep 13 was the ending.
Chuck vs The Push Mix. The actual series final was horrible and no show should end like that.
