I want to bring my PS4 with me on vacation. I unplugged the power cord and the HDMI cable. But now the system is beeping at me for some reason. Anyone know what this means? I tried to google it and didn't see anything.

maybe it's like the ps3 and needs to be reset to the tv it is hooked up to. I didn't have to do that with mine when i took it out of the box, but i remember with the ps3 you had to hold the power button for like 10 seconds so it would properly sync to the tv or whatever

or you just broke it

You plugged it right back in after the beeping started?

Plot twist. PS4 is more evil than Xbone Kinect being always on. Sony trying to take over the world.

Microsoft will save us.

This isn't really any help but here is someone else reporting the same issue last month.

LINK

No solution was offered and the person didn't post much outside of simply reporting the problem.

I always have my PS4 in standby and I've unplugged it while in standby and moved it to 3 different TV's since I've had it. It never made any sounds.

Have you tried emailing or calling Sony support?

If you were sleeping and someone picked you up and tried to put you in a bag, I'm sure you would have a few things to say about it too.
