If the Saints can't win in Carolina, do you want them in the playoffs?

I remember saying to my friend (who's a Cowboys fan) that if I were him, I wouldn't even want the Cowboys in the playoffs because I'd just get embarrassed.

This was Saturday, before the embarrassment that was Sunday.

I'm not done with the season. As much as I hate losing, if the team fixes issues from it (real long term change), then it helps sooth the pain.

If we can't nut up and win this coming Sunday in the biggest game of the year to date, then I really don't want them in the playoffs, because if this past Sunday didn't wake them up, then we're just going to get embarrassed on the road in the playoffs.

I'm kind of in agreement here. I was in denial after the Seahawks game pointing to all the crazy plays they made and the fact that no one wins there as reasons why I thought we could still be successful. Then we blow out Carolina and I'm pumped.

But to go on the road and play the way we did, against a team like that. Man you can pump all the sunshine if you want, but f you can't beat a Kellen Clemens led 5-8 Rams team on the road, what makes you think you can beat anyone in the playoffs on the road?

We just look like a completely mentally weak team. We can't bounce back from adversity and we fold under pressure. This week is basically nut up or shut up and Payton might have to do his best coaching job since he's been here this week. It all comes down to this, either 2 seed..or one and done.

I thought better of you Patrick

Yes, of course I want the Saints in the playoffs, no matter what. Any given Sunday and all that.

Records don't matter once we get to the playoffs. It's all about getting hot at the right time.

That's the only thing that came to mind. That may be the dumbest thing you've ever posted. Where is that guy who was sucking you and Chad off? I hope he reads this

On second read, you have to be trolling. I've never seen you in such a negative mood. I know you don't really mean what you said. If you honestly meant that, you've lost all credibility as a ST poster.

I'd rather them in the playoffs under any circumstance than not.

It's like turning down a free lottery ticket because you don't think you have a shot at winning the jackpot.

Of course I want them in the playoffs.

Look how crappy the Giants were in regular season and then won the Super Bowl.

Saints can get hot in the postseason and win it all. It's not impossible.

So you'd rather zero chance at a Super Bowl vs a snowball's chance in hell?

If the winless Lions were offered a shot at the playoffs that year, you think they wouldn't have taken it?

This is idiotic.

I just want to win the NFC South. I know that the Saints are not going to the Superbowl this season, so, I just want to win the NFC South.

The Saints are a Dome/Finesse/Home team with little power in the trenches, they have a shaky kicker, and they are kind of soft on the road.

Of course you want your team to make the POs under any conditions, and it would be great for the Saints to get a PO win or two, but, right now, I just want the division.

I have a bad feeling that the Saints are not good enough to even win the division this season.

when we get ousted from the playoffs, it will a beatdown of the seattle/st. louis variety

There is no beatdown that we can give carolina that will make me feel better about our playoff chances.

I've read a lot of stupid shite on here but, by far, this is the worst I've ever seen. For anyone, ever, to not want their team in the playoffs..... Nm, you have to be trolling.

and you got me.
