So much rustle in this thread. If more people would accept that all the people with this "info" are actually nobodies then we might be able to actually keep a nice pair of jimmies in this house.

It's sad. Saban has met every criteria for the "If he would just X to stop the rumors" and it persists.

People on this board want Saban gone so bad. I'm waiting for the "Five commas in press statement. Five letters in Texas and Saban. He gone."

Once Mack was officially out it just flared up again with every excuse in the world why none of the prior acceptable things "sign the contract, make a statement, etc." aren't good enough anymore.

tl;dr Errbody Sabansessed

With the difference in Taxes between Texas and Alabama, $10m in Texas money is really only $9.5M in Alabama money. Alabama would have to offer more than Texas to get him to stay.....

If Saban turns down 10 million per year to stay in that shithole called Alabama, then he ain't so smart after all.

True for income taxes, but if he invests it locally, there are virtually no property taxes in Alabama. They are astronomical in Texas.

2. He presents this offer to Bama and then signs his 3rd extension (and pay raise) at Bama in 21 months.

followed by a terse press release saying it isn't about money and blame the press circulating rumors that forced him to get another raise.

Pick your answer:

1. He coaches Texas in 2014.

2. He presents this offer to Bama and then signs his 3rd extension (and pay raise) at Bama in 21 months.

3. He turns down Texas and walks away from $3 million/year.

4. LSU fans begin the process to be disappointed........again!
