Who are you to stop men from sexually charged fantasies?
I'm not. Strawman.

Why is it okay for women to feel demeaned and have that be a legit talking point against porn
but real objectification of men in fantasy stories for women that involve sex isn't considered a problem too?
I think it's more demeaning to the spouse or the SO of the man viewing porn, or at least a lot of women feel that way. My initial comments were in that context.
In regards to objectification of men in fantasy stories for women, you'll have to forgive my ignorance on that. Are you talking about those novels they sell in grocery stores?

So do you use your imagination, or JC Penny catalogs?

Me and my wife are blessed with a healthy, regular sex life. I channel my sexual energy to her, because it belongs to her.

I still can't wrap my mind around how it is demeaning.Men can't just enjoy themselves
for a few fleeting moments of sexuality without the direct influence of a female without being accused of demeaning women?
It doesn't even make sense.

I didn't expect this thread to turn into a serious porn discussion

I didn't expect people to criticize porn for being "demeaning" either
I'm not sure if I've been trolled or not

I can respect that. I'm going to hit the fiance with that one tonight.

I guess think of it like your spouse choosing to use a vibrator or some other sex toy to satisfy herself rather than have sex with you. You'd most likely feel disrespected.
Of course many women use sex as some type of bargaining tool to be manipulative, and drive men to find other outlets, such as porn, or infidelity.

I guess I'm not that sensitive.
relatedly:
There are a TON more things to satisfy a woman than a man like that available. Hell there are full robots out there.
Nobody thinks that should be banned.
edit:
Porn on the other hand? OMG RABBLE RABBLE BAN IT BAN IT NOW!!11!1!

Not all healthy relationships look and function in the same way.

I'm not trying to pronounce judgment on anyone in here. I'm not in the business of telling adults what to do. Just sharing my views and opinions of the subject.

Are you in a monogamous relationship? Just curious.

I don't think porn should be banned. I'm an anarchist.

Dissenting opinions are not allowed here.

This.
I'd guarantee you that my girlfriend would much rather me look at porn on a random night rather than go out looking for the real thing. I'm not naive enough to believe she doesn't have fantasies about other men either but who gives a frick as long as they don't act on it.
