PVC will likely be too heavy, unless you get really skinny. It needs to toe the fine line between flexible enough to sway with the wind and rigid enough to remain upright with a flag on it.

still one of my favorite groups to catch at the upstairs room at blue nile - this year doug has assembled the following band for wimbash:
Doug Wimbish and Corey Glover (Living Colour), Khris Royal & Dark Matter, Nigel Hall (Nth Power/ Lettuce), Eric Krasno (Soulive/ Lettuce).

so I just realized my dad's birthday is the Saturday that Phish plays...
thankfully my dad is a pretty hetty brah and would understand moving his birthday celebration to Friday night. I hope anyway...

I tried to get him to. My and my brother took him to Neil Young a few years ago and Van Morrison the year after that. Raged a Toots and the Maytals show the night before one of those too. Downing old fashioneds and flirting with college girls. It was great.

We used a tall bamboo stalk we cut down off metairie road once. I would not particularly recommend it.

That sounds magical. Pretty sure I remember y'all doing that actually. I remember him being at some show at the varsity a few years back too with either you and/or your brah.
