I'd go bargain hunting for some upside options. Jason Kubel on a 1 year deal and slot him in the 6 hole would be something I'd look at. Inexpensive and if it doesn't pan out, no biggie.

Wont say pissed, think it's a terrible move, not happy though. They'll regret it sooner than later.

Robbie already has hustle/motivation issues. Plus he hates playing in the cold. This should be interesting to watch for the next TEN years. So glad the yankees let him walk and i love robbie.

Mariners think they have the pieces to land David Price, too.

Kinda. Don't want to see him 19 times a season, but loving the contract.

Yeah I'd like to see them get a SP like Colon and then fill out the rest of the team with those types. If Walker and more are traded for Price then it's a disaster long term, even if next year would be fun.

And we have young trading pieces also....a lot more to come from the M's...last year of gm contract. He has to put a winning team out there. He is gonna make big moves...

It's a terrifying thought after what we've seen from Jack Z last year and this year. Just please no Nelson Cruz and David Price trade

I'm fine with a trade as long as walker isn't in it.

If NY ends up landing Headley I'm fine with it. Even as it is now I like it more I think. The Yankees needed another solid OF and were in dire need of a decent catcher.

Now they can unload Ichiro or Gardner and possibly Sanchez as a deal to land a solid 3B.
