It's hard not to reflect back on a few of the games LSU lost this year - and how they lost them and not to think "what if".

Aside from the Bama game, because frankly they're just a better team than us, LSU legitimately should have beat UGA and Ole Miss.

Against UGA a very confused and extremely pourous LSU pass defense allowed UGA to score at will. The last score being the go-ahead TD with lesss than 2 minutes remaining in the 4th. The same 4th quarter prevent defense plagued LSU in several big games in 2012 causing a 4 loss season (Alabama and Clemson)

Against Ole Miss, a lethargic LSU team and gameplan, reminiscent of yesterday's near loss against Arky, cost them another victory.

Had they been able to pull these games out LSU would be 11-1 and tied for the lead on the SECW with AU and UA. But in both cases it seemed a lack of preparation and/or motivation cost the Tigers a chance at the SECCG.

As a fan growing up watching LSU take it on the chin in the Liberty Bowl or watching Nebraska have their way with us whenever we made it to a major bowl game I never thought I would see the days where LSU played in the NC game, much less 3 and winning two of them. These truly are the glory years of LSU football. But it is so damn frustrating watching ill-prepared and unmotivated teams suit up in P&G. I just don't understand why some games we look like gang-busters and in others we look like we don't even want to be there.

We almost did it again yesterday against a 3-8/0-7 Arkansas team but not for the efforts of an unsuspecting hero.

If LSU wants to get back to the next level they need to get back to dominating teams, stepping on their neck and making their arse quit in the 4th quarter. We are getting OUR arse kicked in the 4th quarter and until that trend stops we're not going anywhere.

Who cares, I am happy losing a minimum of 2 games a year.

Yep...

Georgia, we definitely had a chance to win, but on the road in that environment was tough.

Ole Miss, there was absolutely no excuse to lose to that shite team.

Rational people don't play this game. It happened live with it and get on with life.

We simply weren't that good. The sooner you accept that the better off you'll be.

Life is not predictable! But should this LSU team be 11-1and headed to Atlanta? Yes. That said, I love the Tigers and CLM!

you shouldn't have to ask why, the answers are right in front of you and have been well documented on here.

Yeah...No. We were capable of greatness...Anthony Johnson just gave them more locker room materials.
