Not talking favorite series, just an ending that was great for an incredible program.

Although polarizing, I loved the Sopranos ending. This was not my favorite series (but close to the top). Incredible finale. Other top notables...

Twin Peaks
Breaking Bad
The Wire
Cheers

What do you think?

Six Feet Under wraps it up about as wonderfully and true to a program as one can. Wish more writers took note.

Six Feet Under and it isn't even close. Best finale and best final scene in television history.

The Office

I haven't seen some of the more acclaimed dramas of late(Breaking Bad, The Wire, etc.) and i'm too young to have seen some of the older comedies. The finale for The Office just tied everything together and in more ways then I was expecting, it was great to see closure on basically everything.

Six Feet Under. Accept no substitutes. It pretty much blows any other finale away, even Newhart which is still Top 5 easily).

Can't be Happy Days. They had already jumped the shark.

Maybe Breaking Bad. It's a very good episode from the best series of all time and had me on the edge of my seat. It didn't leave me with a "wtf" moment like the endings for Lost, The Sopranos, or Seinfeld. Seinfeld has to be one of the worst btw.

Breaking Bad and The Shield are too close to call for me.

Next tier would be The Wire, Hill Street Blues, Cheers and M*A*S*H.
