Both home games in the top half of 5A are insane.

I already talked about Acadiana.

Same thing for Destrehan. They are the 4. Dutchtown is the 5. Destrehan already played Dutchtown at Dutchtown out of district. They won 45-14. Now this Friday, Destrehan plays Dutchtown again. AT DUTCHTOWN.

It's not like it's a travel hardship. Destrehan is a 45 minute drive. It's not Shreveport.

You wanna keep a dirt-poor public school in the delta from taking a 5 hour drive every week? Fine. But Barbe and Dutchtown are between 45-70 minutes from their opponent. And I know that a lot of a lot of kids are already coming home tomorrow after 3-4 hour drives just to come back to play Friday night. Plus, I believe Dutchtown scheduled a regular season game at Captain Shreve this year, so I doubt that a 45 minute drive would kill them.
