Martez Wilson lasted a month in Oakland and is still on the street with no takers. Dawson has come in and played more ST snaps than any other player. Last night he stepped up and made what should be THE play for Dan Patrick's NFL Turning Point show.
Hail Loomis, frick the armchair GMs!

Absolutely the play of the game.

I try to pay attention to who we have on the roster and found myself asking where in the heck did this guy come from. Great and hopefully breakout game. I hope Foster is OK but if this guy can come in and contribute then fantastic.

No doubt .. We needed that turnover bad.

His response time on that play was ridiculous. He broke off his block and made that tackle like everyone was standing still.

I thought this guy would just be a special teams player, but he's playing some considerable snaps, and isn't a terrible passrusher.

He was Gregg Williams gift for screwingbus last year.

Very impressive young man that may have a bright future.

Dawson has appeared in 67 games over his seven-year career with the Indianapolis Colts, Detroit Lions and Titans. Age 28, born in Shreveport

OK impressive but not so young.

maybe another case like dlP or Jed Collins of finding the right fit on a roster. Gotta love the outta nowhere stories. Lance Moore didn't stick on the Browns practice squad. Dungy last Sunday night called him an undersized very quick LB (played for him).

I've heard posters ask why do we 'settle' for loomis when we could do so much better

I can honestly admit, I did the same thing last night. Maybe I just had one too many drinks and my brain wasn't working, but nope, even today I dont know who that is. Well I do now I guess.

He should be good with a first name like that. Straight from the motherland, baby. He looks like a player the Saints can use.
