the Falcons didnt score a point in the second half

Yea, only because of a fumble by the same guy who had been abusing white in the first half.

I think we need to put Jenkins back at corner and play harper, vaccaro and bush/IAQ at safety personally.

No thanks. Jenkins is thriving in his role right now, no reason to take him away from what he does best.

While he's wasn't great, he was better in the 2nd half. Plus, it was clear that the Saints' game plan was to shut down Gonzales and White at all costs (which they did). That being the case, the ball has to go to another WR. That guy happend to be the WR White was matched up with. I mean as much as we hate the Falcons, Ryan is still a decent QB. He's going to make some good throws and complete some passes. As a whole, the D gave up 13 points. So while the yardage total was probably a bit higer than usual, overall I can't complain about the defense

Last night was a bad game by him, but he has shown flashes of potential. You can't bail on a young cornerback because of one rough night.

I do expect the Saints to make cornerback their top priority in the offseason and will probbaly add 2 new ones at the minimum

What has to be done??

I actually liked the way he played in the second half. Dude had about as bad of a first half as you can, regrouped, and played much better. D-line living in Matty's backyard helped too.

Last night they put Vaccaro at nickel CB. It looks like they have more faith in him than Jenkins to match up with WRs.

and another thing... how about all of those times where Ryan got sacked?

He didn't have anyone to throw it to because of good coverage. While the D-line was getting a good rush, there also has to be good coverage in the secondary to make it happen.

That is how it works.

I mean, I've been that guy before who comes on here kind of complaining after a win before... but here's the thing....

there wasn't any reason to think the Saints were going to go up there and beat the brakes off ATL last night. Thursday Night Football blows. It's got to be hard to get up after a hard fought win over a good team like the 49ers and go out and play even better on 3 days rest.

as for White... I thought he was really bad on one series and just.... meh... on others. Were you expecting an All-Pro type of performance?

I don't know man. The Falcons held the ball for almost 34 minutes in the game and had only 13 points to show for it... including getting shutout in the second half.

Not the worst results I've ever heard of.

Possibly. He's been hit and sacked so many times this year his eyes arent downfield anymore.

He's a guy that given time can make some throws. Good thing he doesnt have it this year.
