Yeah, much better second half than first. He's been playing well previous to this game (was PFF's 11th ranked CB). I'm going to give him a break.

Plus, you ask what can be done: we don't really have many options.

He really stepped it up in the second half.

Thankfully we're not gonna face anymore teams that really scare you with a heavy pass game, so that's good. But the fact that Jenkins and Vaccaro play so much nickel has really helped us not have such a huge drop off.

True, but we lacked intensity and were out-coached.

man, I'm bombed right now and missed out on most of the fun during the game.

posted a few thoughts in the game thread.

I see what your talking about though.

typical game day madness on the board.

They played the short game the entire time. Mr. Checkdown is the king of the short game.

Literally nothing. He's the best we got. And he isn't terrible. He'll adjust. It always sucks when you lose your solid CB like Greer.

Ryan will scheme something. I think we need to put Jenkins back at corner and play harper, vaccaro and bush/IAQ at safety personally.

We'll probably end up playing a little more nickel then usual. Vacarro (or any of our other Db's for that matter) have got to stay healthy.
