The currently have the 4th best Margin of victory in the league, but have played a tougher schedule than the 3 teams ahead of them. Profootballreference.com, using a combination of strength of schedule and margin of victory, shows the Panters are the NFCs best team and 2nd only to Denver overall.

My top 5:

They didn't really win that game last night, so...

Playing them twice in the same month is going to be intense and really great football to watch.

I'm already tired of the Panthers suckfest. Saints and Seahawks are better than they are.

The only team that dominated them was Arizona. Their other losses were really close.
The only problem is their running game. Their numbers are good per game, but the production of the RB's yards per carry is not. Cam is their running game. Williams' yards per carry is below average.
Unless Carolina can get better production from the RB corps, I don't like their chances in the playoffs.

they've only beaten 2 teams over .500
im sure their SOS is increased by playing SEA, who they lost too.
they've also lost to buffalo. lol

The cool thing about the NFC is that all of the top teams will have played each other this year.

Can Saints win games away from dome, no. This gives Carolina the advantage abc puts them in good position to win this division

Denver has played a crap-arse schedule - and as a Raiders fan - this is true.
Denver will lose to NE this weekend and would lose to about 4 NFC teams who are just playing a different brand of ball right now over the best the AFC has to offer. Plus, who in their right mind trusts Manning in January? That Denver D isn't all that great...giving up a million points to the freakin' Cowboys??? Raiders could score on them and we can't score on anyone!
7. KC
6. Denver
5. New England
4. S.F.
3. Panthers
2. Saints
1. Seattle

I think that's a fair list.
Denver is the best team, Seattle should be over us. I might have had KC over us as well. We'll get this 3a and 3b thing worked out in the next few weeks.

Good enough to fizzle out before the end of the season and loose a first round playoff game.
