i actually went to the Wold Club 7s last weekend in Limerick, Ireland. i'd never been to a match before, but we had a hell of a time. went on sunday and watched five or six matches, including the final where the fijian team pummeled the canadian team. there weren't a ton of people there, but munster, the local team, had a ruckus crowd.

Matches this weekend were pretty good despite all the rain. The tie ends New Zealand's win streak and sets up an interesting couple of matches for their next encounters.

Pumas almost pulled off a similar result in what seemed like an even heavier downpour. I think this team might actually have a real shot at a TRC win at home this year.

very nice. I got to tour an empty Thomond Park last year, but I wish I could have seen a match there.

A follow up spoiler .......

Australia prevented New Zealand from claiming a world record 18th consecutive win by holding the world champions to a 12-12 draw in a tryless Rugby Championship opener on Saturday that left both sides disappointed.

Results!

Argentina will have credible hopes of making a Rugby Championship breakthrough when they meet South Africa again on Saturday, seven days after a narrow defeat in Pretoria in their opening game of this year's southern hemisphere competition.

I don't think it'd be up on youtube yet. I'm waiting for the torrent to be posted on acrossthetasman, my other sports torrent site isn't doing the game this weekend.

It really is impressive though all the talent Top League has been able to attract.
