Doesn't sound bad at all. Actually that sounds like a good deal.

I think the sign said $5.99/lb. if I'm not mistaken. I wanna say my plate came out to like $6.20 something.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty reasonable.

Tell them you want three pounds of nothing but bacon, you could have found heaven.

Went by at about 5:45 and it was pretty packed. Checkouts were all open and they were doing their best, moved pretty quick.

Didnt get a chance to go through the whole store, but it looked very comparable to the store on 42.

Nice beer section, plenty of bomber selections; have a long way to go if they want to be on the top level, not sure that is in their plans. Hopefully I missed them, but I didn't see any Parish, Tin Roof or Nola stuff on the shelves? WTF?

The cookies I got were top shelf though, great cooking smells throughout the store as well.

Few down things that are not their fault, not much they can do to fix them. Traffic down the side road is horrible and they need to get in the AP higher ups and see if that can improve. Also two people going at it in the parking lot, management tried what they could to remedy it, but I wouldn't have gotten between the two of them.

Best grocery store in BR area. Did find employees not nearly as knowledgeable as Alexander's and Ralph's about product.

No doubt this should get better with time.

I buy Parish on 42 all the time so I'm sure they will have it at the new location

It was two South American "ladies"

I don't know what they were yelling, but it was a moment I am sure they wish would have not happened. Not sure how it turned out, left while a manager was trying to corral one of them.

Hi Neighbors started this last month

Alexander's does this and I fricking hate it because their hot food deli sucks.

I find Whole Foods to be more worth it when I pay by the pound. More variety than your standard soul/comfort food and lunch/dinner-time staples.

LeBlanc's in Gonzo's hot food bar is quite good, as is the salad bar. It can get pricey since it's pay by the pound if you really load up your plate, so be careful. But if you are a reasonable eater, it's a fairly low cost lunch. Especially if you're used to eating out at restaurants.

Yah I went yesterday for breakfast and it was $5.99lb and then lunch and dinner is 6.99lb but you can mix and match salad bar. Thought if was a good deal plus I got to fix how much I wanted! The place is awesome I think I will be doing all of my shopping here plus a great selection of gluten free

Just got back, nice place much better laid out than Alexander's, not near the level of a whole foods but by far the best thing out here.

They do have dry aged beef, and I will try some soon, but was funny overhearing someone looking at the dry aged case and say"damn store has not been open a week and the counter is full of rotten meat already"
