so going to two national title games apparently isnt good enough for you. not to mention winning one of them and losing the other to the team that you beat two months prior.

what the hell is wrong with some of you people.

what is your definition of excellence?

It's the way we lose that is frustrating. Mistakes are not corrected, them team morale is horrible. The team is not motivated what so ever when you have everything to play for. It is just inexcusable for Jeremy Hill to have 13 carries in the biggest game of the yr. The coaching mistakes are just incredibly embarrasing for someone you pay over 3 million a yr too. When your coach doesn't even know what down it is then its probably time we find one that does!! Hey but lets keep Miles hes doing a great job!! Program is on the up and up!

Lsu does far better than " compete on occasion". Comparing them to Vandy and Ole Miss is just s blata nt flame. You suck

All I am saying your negative attitude doesn't accomplish anything if you are really an LSU fan (your say you are a Texas fan).

You do know that "positivity" is exactly why Texas is where they are right? With a little negativity, they wouldn't be watching Mac Brown ruin their program.

I enjoy my life, thank you (How's yours?). As far as my shortcomings go (and there are quite a few), I try to work on bettering myself in many areas. As I already said, I recognize that perfection is impossible. However, I sure as hell don't sit on my arse making the same mistakes over and over while comforting myself that "it could be worse."

Well it's hard to actually know if you do or don't make the same mistakes over and over since your life is not on display for all to see every week. But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and agree with you.

My point is not that "it could be worse." My point is that the vast majority of the people I hear the "I demand excellence" argument from are people FAR removed from demanding any sort of excellence in their own lives. Therefore, it's quite deluding on their part to clamor for all this excellence. (Bama fans are even worse; however, they have a pot to piss in at the moment)

Given this is the internet, which is nothing short of a bastion of excellent human beings at the top of their fields, I'm well aware my argument doesn't belong here. And if you truly believe that your life embodies a level of excellence that supercedes the LSU football coaches, the players, the entire program; then you have every right to keep clamoring for more excellence.

Considering LSU's record, you must be one heck of an individual sir.

I was not doing the comparing. Work on your reading comprehension skills.

I'm not proud..... instead of excellence, I'd simply settle for competence.

Thank you for your concern about my life.

The internet is serious business for you, and I'm very sorry to have interrupted you. Please, by all means, carry on.

I'm with you. I'd be happy with some decent clock management and some motivation when we play the likes of Ole Miss.

I hear ya...I've never expected excellence from CLM...nobody expects the man to be perfect....just some common sense and corrective action...both of which have been in short supply the last few years.

I see 3 losses on that record not 1 loss to Bama. We lost to a depleted Ole Miss team.
