I honestly really liked the game plan. This game really just boils down to our defense lacking in talent this season.. It's obviously not something we're used to as LSU fans.

I think you answered it.

Recruiting just isn't up to par of late.

I agree with you BUT

I think Copeland gave us a better chance to run the ball.

I think Stud is and has been a liability.

Not recruit to the level that Saban has recruited to.

It was our best game plan of the year we came out with passion and we called really solid plays. Cookie didnt crumble our way.

It's not just about tonight. It's a collective fail over the past two years.

Game plan was fine for the first half, but there is a reason teams make adjustments in the second halves when other teams adjust.

The defense looked awful with the exception of 2 or 3 drives and that speaks to coaching. All the players were missing tackles, playing without focus and just plain bad. Lack of talent isn't an excuse for Miles, it's a reason the defense sucks. Lack of talent is Les' fault too.

Great coaching can make up for weaker talent, but unfortunately LSU doesn't have that right now on the defensive side of the ball.

He failed to reload the offense and defense synchronously.

This is a long term timing error. Miles failed to sync up the year to year peaks and troughs of the offense and defense. This is perhaps something a more process oriented coach might pay attention to.

Last year's defense with this year's offense would have been a way different story.

Taking our best blocker out because he fumbled. Hey if you don't want to give him the ball fine. We saw against ole miss what happens without JC.

Here is the problem, it is simply that is own players don't have the confidence that he is going to put them in a position to win SEC & NC titles, this is why they are leaving early. That is why Miles has to go, because whether anyone likes it or not Miles has lost the confidence of his players to win the big one.

When Bennie Logan and RJF are saying things like this;

quote:

quote:
@da_king_son18: “@Freakyjean99: That's game, you can't blame kids for leaving early. If your successful take your talent to the next level.”

that says it all. It is time for Miles to go before it gets really bad. If 8th in the SEC right now, and we have a damn good shot at losing the a&m game because Manziel is going to have a field day on us, it is just whether we can out score their defense, how does that feel? 8th if the freaking SEC, with all the talent we have that should be unacceptable by anyone's standards and especially the LSU admin. But wait remember the 90's so 8-5 is better than that!!! What a croc of shite.

I posted comments from JJ 2 days ago and posters jumped my arse because it was from JJ. What people don't get is JJ was taking up for Miles but in doing so he actually show the difference in coaching styles and why Miles is losing the confidence of his current players and former players to win the important games, because he is a fricking class clown!!!

JJ qoutes;

quote:

I think what was funny and pretty untold was Les Miles dancing at one of our practices. On certain days, they play music for crowd noise and if it is a song Coach Miles like, he would start dancing to it. It was hilarious.

on Saban

quote:

Nick Saban disciplines his team to make sure there is not many mistakes. That makes a team like that hard to beat. There are not too many flaws, blown coverages or missed assignments.

This is what Miles has done wrong, he wants to be the fricking center of attention so much with his moronic statements and actions he is the class clown. What the sunshine pumpers don't realize is we are all being laughed at.

fricking Fire Miles, before we become Miss St.

Watch and see how many leave early this year, and everyone of them will have legitimate enough excuses for the sunshine pumpers to say "what did you expect they should have left."

No they are leaving because they know Les is not taking them to the promise land, unlike with Saban the Bama players know that he will. Did anyone else see the 13 players for Bama that CBS highlighted that graduated that were still playing, that is why Bama will continue to beat us. Saban gets the players he needs to win Championships to stay. Miles can't do that the players have lost confidence in him.

The truth hurts but it doesn't make it any less the truth.

The bottom line is Ole Les does not work or discipline his players to the extent that Saban does and it really shows on the field.

The Leader is always 100% accountable for the result. There is no dodging that. We have been fortunate to have some of the most talented players in the nation, and we have won a lot of games, but Miles isn't very good at taking a young team with less talent and getting them to play above their capability.

It's the same story year in year out....

1. Dumb, untimely penalties.
2. Weird offensive highs and lows.
3. Extremely poor clock management. Maybe the worst in cfb across his tenure.
4. Lack of awareness during games. (What down is it?, What happened?, etc...)
5. Mismanagement of internal coaching moves, trying to reward staff without considering overall impact to program. Don't get me wrong, there is something to be said for that, but Malloveto and the Stud experiment could have been program killers.
6. Takes silly gambles that have a low percentage of success.

I'm not a Miles hater, but I'm not surprised at our performance last night and I won't be surprised if we don't win another conference championship under Miles. We will have some damn talented teams that Willie T. Ribs could win ten games with, and we will have some teams that Miles will not be able to coach up to where he should.

Bottom line is that these things didn't just start happening. It's the way he rolls the dice, the way he manages his business, and we love him and hate him for it depending on what number pops up. Personally I like to micromanage the details and lead indicators very closely so my result on the back end (not the score, but the product the team puts on the field) is more consistent and focuses on the little details, and Miles certainly isn't very good at that.

Geaux Tigers. Beat the damn Aggies.

Nothing. He did the best he could. And we still got crushed. Don't have the talent on D any more, and I don't see any coming in that will improve it. I hope I'm wrong.
