I don't have a lot of use for Bill Wilson's past influence on some of the shooting sports -- but Wilson Combat makes good 1911's, and they make excellent mags for 1911's.
I think I'd believe the claim.
Now, whether the mags are worth the price is a different question. Mag springs are pretty cheap and are easy to replace.

Yeah they are but for somebody who doesn't shoot very much or leaves a particular mag loaded with defense ammo (I realize neither of which are smart) you can rest assured it will feed if absolutely necessary.
