Went with a group of guys from my office and I have to admit it was a good time. Easy to sit back and just laugh. It seems like a bit of a guilty pleasure but it was easy and predictable but funny.
The kid made the movie for me. I wouldn't buy it or anything but would recommend to go see it with your buddies.

Going Sunday with my 3 teens. We all got the same sense of humor so we should enjoy it based on the previews.

I'll probably wait for it to come out on dvd but it does look like it would be worth a few chuckles

I saw previews back during the summer. The beauty pageant scene hurt me, but when Grandpa came out and made it rain I completely lost my shite. I still giggle a bit just thinking about it.

Excuse the bump of an older thread... I saw this movie this weekend.
Why in the hell are more people not talking about the night club's "lady's night" scene???
As sad as it is to admit, that one scene made me laugh louder than any single scene in any movie of the past several years. Most of the movie was predictable - but this scene totally caught me off guard.

The kid was the best part of the movie. He's a great actor... very natural, unlike the forced and ill-timed cutesiness of most child actors.
I laughed quite a few times, but I gotta admit that the biker bar scene didn't seem genuine.
