Yall got any recommendations? Brands to stay away from? Mucks? Redhead? Danner?
I need them to be waterproof and warm and comfy...that's about it.

Depends on what you are going to be doing. Lace-ups offer more support for long walks or hilly terrain.
I either use Lace-ups or LaCrosse ankle grips(no idea the model #, that's what I've always called them) for knee boots. I do not like muck knee boots. I have ripped a pair walking through heavy briars and smilax vines

Lightest Mucks you can find, if hunting in LA. I wear Muck Wetlands. Any heavier and your feet really sweat.

Rocky's. Had a pair of these for 6 years and love them. Think the insulation has worn out cause my feet got cold for the first time last year. or im becoming a puss

I have a pair of Muck boots and would recommend them. They're a little pricey but well worth it.
