So let me get this straight? Since I registered this month and I'm daring to disagree with someone over 10,000 posts....I must be an alter? Does that about sum it up?

Jump to unfounded and illogical conclusions much do ya?

Most people do not join and immediately post 13 posts on average per day. It is doubly suspicious when you and another person talking to me (who also registered this month) end your post to me the exact same way.

excuse 2 was he wanted to save the time out and try to ice the kicker

This doesn't make sense to me. The same kicker would be "iced" whether he called timeout with 25 seconds or 6 seconds. The kicker still was going to have to wait and think about it, then kick for the win. No difference.

This board makes me sick sometimes. The reality of the world of sports is teams lose. I mean it sucks we lost to who we did and how we did but it happens. I’m not the biggest Miles fan but I don’t think the guy deserves to have people calling for his firing after every lose. I think everyone that has any sense would have thought LSU would lose 2-4 games this year at the beginning of the season. Half of our D just got finished studying for their dam leap test and we lost an assload of guys on NFL rosters from last year’s team. I for one feel very optimistic that these guys are going to be a force once they get some experience. In two years we will have a good QB and an experienced D filled with high end recruits that are super talented and a Junior QB that should be a real good one. Everyone needs to chill the shite out and be happy we have the talent we do year after year. There is only one Saban and he coaches Bama. They are the only team in the nation that is expected to win the whole thing year after year and we beat them often. Hell we may beat them this year. Slow down on the Miles crap.

Thank you now I will go back to the RB where a much smaller % of posters are ridculous.

Just once? I will. Miles and Chav have to go. Now... if they do this 3 years in a row (because let's face it, they won't get fired) and do better against other teams, I'll wear a shirt that says Les Miles is the Man! every day for the rest of my life.

Chavis is 2-2 against Bama.

did Les ever mention why he didn't call TO with 30 seconds left?

that really didn't cost us the game and had little to do with anything. I think he probably means mistakes with the game plan and personel decisions, such as sitting Hill, that cost us the game.

Les is awesome. Did any of you whiners were fans of LSU in the 90's?? Jeeez... 11-win seasons don't grow on freaking trees, man. It sucks to lose like that, but Mett lost that game, not Les. Despite the end.

No, the rant cannot move on from one loss. This forum is more about people wanting to be clever and right, less about loyalty to LSU.

I do not mind losing when we are outclassed.
I do not mind a 10-11 win season if that's the talent we have.
but it does bother me when $ 4 MM are paid to a coach to coach and his team goes unprepared.

...not all losses are created equally
this is not the first time

Are you posting from "Fantasy Land" ? If we go in to Tuscaloosa and win 31-7 some people here will still want Miles and others canned.

Now you are posting from "Fantasy Land".

Don't you mean loyalty to Les Miles?

How about understanding that among some of us these two concepts are not the same.

Actually, some of us remember the Charlie McLendon-Bear Bryant days and what seems new to you seems to me, though I hope not, history repeating itself.

Of course in those days it was "Cholly Mac is awesome" though he was 2-14 against Bryant.

Les has been nowhere close to that bad against Saban though...

Yeah having the second highest win % in sec history proves Miles isn't capable. I hate our ignorant fans.
