Spoiled frickers. I almost hope that we lose every game for the next decade just to remove you fricks.

But, it really kills my buzz when we are realistically eliminated from the SECW title in late October.

this is true. just disheartening. i don't want anyone fired and i'm not a sky falling type but it hurts knowing this season is done.

i know people will look for a reason to bash miles and nothing else but fact is if we had bama's sec east schedule, we'd still be in control of our own destiny. even though i think we split the bama and tamu games (and have always since preseason) but having it over this soon is a bit disappointing.

I expect the winner of the LSU/Bama game to control its own destiny and play for the SEC championship...if that gets us into the NC game, then so be it. I don't expect us to be out of the SECW race by mid October with a loss to a decimated Ole Miss squad. Winning out would be considered a great year IMO, 9-3...a good year(still disappointed), and 8-4 would be a huge disappointment to me.

I think the rest of the field has caught up with LSU.

The middle of the league is light-years better than it has been in quite a while, and everyone around this program is still operating as if everything is just filler for the Bama game.

It's not like that right now, and hopefully everybody wakes up and approaches the season a little different next year.

I've already started to think about the QB play for next year.

Nick Marshall is likely to be your only veteran starter from the SECW.

Some folks forget upsets happen every Saturday. Ole Miss has some talented players and some of those guys like Wallace played their best game all year. In the SEC, to win a title you have to have a little luck go your way with injuries and schedule. Plus you have to be ready EVERY game or you can and will get beat by a lesser team.

The passion is admirable. But it's either ignorance or masochism that allows you to continue with that mindset. You need not only a damn good football team to win a NC, but a bit of luck as well.

If you can't enjoy the ride, when that championship finally does come, you're saying things like "we should've won 4 of these by now!" Then it's back to, what can we do to repeat. Where's the joy in that? Too many of you are too invested in the outcome. The games themselves are supposed to be fun.

If Jennings doesn't play half the football game on Saturday, I'll probably be more upset than I was in Vaught last week.
