Why in the world would he do that? When a woman finally stops talking, you don't go out of your way to ruin that.

re: Man Leaves Wife Accidentally At Gas Station

I know an elderly couple that did this. He is blind in his right eye. They stopped for gas and she wasn't feeling well and sleeping. He filled up paid for the gas and took off. She had gone to bathroom. Many miles down the road he tried to talk to her and finally looked over to see she wasn't there.

He was probably happy with the peace and quiet.

re: Man Leaves Wife Accidentally At Gas Station

Saw this one time. When I was a kid my family was on vacation and had stopped at a rest area on the Interstate. This lady came out of the restroom and started screaming and running down the grassy area chasing a motor home. Her husband had driven off without her. He got on the interstate and never looked back. Someone got in a car and went after him and I guess got his attention and pulled him over. My Mom was comforting her as she was crying and screaming "I am going kill that stupid SOB". My brother and I were cracking up.

re: Man Leaves Wife Accidentally At Gas Station

My dad left me at the cracker barrel gas station on the way home from an lsu game 2 years ago. It was the sunday after the game. I was hungover, dressed like a bum and my cell phone was dead. I was such a mess that ppl didnt want to let me use their cell phone. Once i got ahold of a cell phone, nobody would answer. Sat in front the gas station for 3 hours.

re: Man Leaves Wife Accidentally At Gas Station

This reminds me of my dad. He very often starts driving before everyone is in the car, and then he gets fricking pissed when we give him a hard time. How hard is it to check to see that everyone is in the car? He almost killed my grandma yesterday. The a-hole will never apologize for it either. We are always too slow.

One time I blew up at him for doing it. I had opened the door for my mom when it was raining, so it took me a second to get in. He acted like it was my fault. I finally, asked him why his wife hadn't defended him yet if he was so right. That was awkward.

re: Man Leaves Wife Accidentally At Gas Station

This happened to a fiend of ours on the way to the LSU / Ole miss game several years ago. (They will read this I know) He stopped in Hammond to fill up the RV. Wife bad been sleeping in the back. While he was fueling up, she got out and went into gas station. When she walked out, he's gone. She had left her cell phone in the Rv. She borrowed other phones from customers and eventually the gas station and kept calling. The phone was no near him in the RV so he never heard it.

2 hours after he left, he's driving along and a state trooper pulls him over. Needless to say, when the cop asked if he knew why he got stopped, he had no idea. When asked where his wife was , he responded that she was in the back sleeping. Can't imagine his face when the police told him she was back in Hammond. He turned the RV round and went and got her.

re: Man Leaves Wife Accidentally At Gas Station

Haha. My grandparents were on interstate with one of my younger cousins when she was an infant. She was crying and pissed so they pulled over to the shoulder. My grandmother got out and opened the back door to put in her pacifier and consoled her, then she closed the back door. My grandfather though she got in the back seat and sped off leaving her on the shoulder of I-10. Went a good ways before he starting asker her questions with no answers.

re: Man Leaves Wife Accidentally At Gas Station

She shouldn't have been sleeping in the first place, unless they were driving overnight and switching drivers. That's just rude.
