In the red zone give me AJ Green, but anywhere else on the field I will take Julio.
Why?
Because he is better at catching balls on a longer field? Just a guess.

Alshon has clearly surpassed both of them

no, the guy said Julio is more physical, but AJ comes out of his breaks smoother, quicker.
You remember who said that?

yeah Dez is better than both
a good comparison I heard a while back comparing Green and Julio....Green is Moss and Julio is T.O., they're totally different receivers.
though Green isn't quite on Moss's level as Moss was a king maker. He could make todd bouman look like a legit NFL QB

AJ has played 3 more games

Why?
AJ has better hands and makes some ridiculous TD grabs
Julio is a much bigger threat to take it deep and is bigger and physical enough to handle tough catches in the middle of the field

you will never get most on this board to admit that any former Bama player is good. you probably could have said is Jarvis Landry better than Julio and most of the clowns would say yes.
JL would have caught that first bomb. Just saying.

AJ has had the slightly better pro and college career thus far. He has always been more fluid and smooth while Julio was more freakish athletic and strong with the little bit of a drop issue plaguing him.
I always thought Julio could gain the edge if he got it all together and I think at least so far this year he has. Better after the catch, more circus catches, and better stats so far this year. They are both clearly the #1 guys on their team this year and so far Julio seems to be doing more. Roddy White is an injured shadow of himself and everyone knows it so that argument doesn't seem valid to me anymore.

Honestly, they are both great. The Julio vs. AJ debates on this board have always been fun, though.

Cause he hasn't it's pretty simple oh Bama fan, never mind..

You're never going to get an lsu/saints fan to admit julio is better than aj.
He abused the tigers in college and has been exceptional in the pros as well.
I believe he's at 580 rec yards after this game and that is with Matt Ryan not being able to hold onto the ball for more than 2 secs due to the falcons oline.
I agree with them being very different receivers and each has their better skills.

This. The debates between them have always been fun and never seem to get out of hand. AJ Green backers have always had the stats to back them up. And Julio backers always point to Julio's upside. To this very point AJ has led the whole way but many if us have predicted Julio will overtake him at some point. Is it happening now? We'll see. But many of yall(mostly LSU fans) seem to completely neglect the possibility of Julio being better. That's ok though because y'all are wrong about football a lot.
My favorite part of the argument is Saint and LSU fans shitting on MR then then turning around in these threads and claiming how much Julio has to work with. And Julio is the 3rd option. I guess he'll be a God when he can finally be good enough to be a #1 option for a team in the NFL.
