Not going to estimate the size of the waves, but definetly had a few close calls with my old man as a kid coming back from the rigs off Cocodrie. We had an 18ft Cajun center console and that bad boy couldn't take waves for shite. We were constantly taking swells over the front of the boat and could never pump the water out fast enough.
