There are lots of folks on this board who eat out often, read reviews and articles on food and restaurants and who are also literate and write very well. The Stab's review is not out of the ordinary here.

Call me crazy, but you obviously don't read too many reviews here. If there is one board on TD that is straight up, it's F&B. The full blown write ups and recipes with pics are better than most food blogs. When someone starts a thread that says "review" or the like, expect something tantamount to a writer's column.

I understand questioning such a detailed post but I can assure you, as can most anyone on this board that knows me, paying someone to post is not the way I do business. I let the chips fall where they may and if I can gain something out of it to make my business better then it is a plus, positive or negative.

Great review, thank you. Sorry I didn't spot it earlier! We opened August 10 and it took a while before we came up for air!

Beauxnes is not an alter. If you read his posts, you might be less confused, but the short version is that he was formerly affiliated with TJ Ribs who was a sponsor (and may still be...not sure) on this site. He is now affiliated with Stab's. You're new to the board, so you wouldn't know that unless you reviewed his posts.

Sure thing. Reviewing some posts when you're suspect about something can clear some things up sometimes. Eleventy posted this review in September. She doesn't post a lot, but if you review her posts, I don't think you'd think she was a paid poster. I wouldn't and didn't, but I'm used to seeing detailed reviews here. Not everyone takes the time to write them and even those that do don't do it all the time, but there are plenty of them here and people eat those up. I love them, anyway.
