The cheer leaders use to bang on Mike IV's (1976 -1980) cage to get him to roar. His roar was awesome but the poor cat was stressed to the max. Glad to see Mike VI is treated as royalty.

It seems that the game itself now often plays second fiddle to tailgating. People care more about getting drunk than they do about cheering for the team. I think that's one reason why so many fans leave early, other than beating the traffic of course.

Can they only be loud screaming obscenities? No... It is stupid and childish but morons gonna moron I guess. I guess you will be happy when the band will not be allowed to play anything you make up lyrics to that get the songs banned. My favorite band tune was neck and because folks like to say "suck.... Dick, bitch " like little adolescents trying to shock adults, we can't hear it anymore. Suck that tiger dick, bitch.

THIS. I've been saying it for years. People wear themselves out trying to have the best tailgate ever and have nothing left for the game itself. And to each his own...if you are a bigger tailgating fan than football fan, then fine. I wish we could get more football fans in the stadium.

I 100% agree that the game has become 2' to the tail gating. If you go for the tail gate, that is fine. Give some one else your tickets and continue to enjoy the party
