Supplant ATM? The Tigers already beat the Aggies at Kyle field, and finished ahead of them in the SEC standings.

Kinda funny how the articles that pump up LSU are "good reads" and the ones that don't are labeled as "garbage"

Did i miss something? People act like A&M didnt finish 5th in the SEC last year. The next time A&M finishes ahead of us in the SEC west will be the first time.

I suppose this will happen when A&M's qb wins the Heisman.

See, the sports media is just as shallow and uninformed as the national (political) media.

They both jump onto stories that the know the 'uninformed' public will click on.

Take Mike Lupica....remember him? He's on the Sports reporters for ESPN (a show that really sucks). He went on a tirade when OU smashed Baylor by like 77-0.

He asked where Stoops' humility was....when in actuality, he didn't even see the game. He saw that they won by 77 and had a problem with that. Had he watched the game, he would have seen that OU put backups in by the middle of the second quarter.

Same with 'journalists' that write articles like this.....or guys that start threads thinking that the article was about ATM and Bama Supplanting LSU.

He combines ATM's win against Bama, with Johnny Heisman and assumed that for ONLY ONE YEAR in the SEC, that ATM had surpassed LSU.

I'm not offended. I just laugh.

UNLESS You just threw ATM in there for no reason.

That's news to Herbstreit and G Danielson based today's tweets. To sum: Alabama can only beat itself this year and they are Only team in the country that can beat you 5 or 6 ways-GD. Alabama and Oregon are far ahead of the field-HH.

Great read.... thnx for posting! The love is only going to get bigger and bigger as ESPN knows that LSU is the only team likely to beat Saban and his gumps. I am still hoping for a surprise loss for Bma but the reality of it is pretty well set in stone over the last five years... Bama and LSU will meet in gumpsville as #1 and #2 again.

The only thing that still has me shaking me heard is that ESPN sure does seem to buy into their own BS. It's like if they just keep on repeating lies then it becomes truth. LSU does not need to supplant A+M because A+M was third to LSU and Bama last year but since their sexy offense is more marketable due to Johnny Cash, they got the better bowl game and perception is king with the talking heads.
