What was going on with our D that let UAB take it to them like that?

We had a ton of 2's and 3's in. I think we let the lead get to our heads

Our defense is not going to just stop folks all the time this year, we need to get that through our heads.

But seriously, who cares when we'll be RUTS on everyone?

they changed things up and attacked our CBs and OLBs with tosses. obviously something we didn't expect

the TD pass was just pretty much perfect and that WR was pretty fast and just burned collins. it happens

radio announcer said UAB went to 2 TE's on one side + pulling guards while LSU had 2nd,3rd stringers in. that's all I heard

We weren't playing our best.

Can you please change the thread title to "dominant" not dominate.

Here it is start a thread to start a thread. I guess you weren't watching UAB's first 4 offensive sets, they had a total of 4 yards of offense!!! I don't know about anyone else but that is pretty f*cking good. We get up 28 points and they let off the gas a little, I am ok with it. Intensity is going to drop off a little when you know this team can't beat you. Stop worrying our defense looks great, they need to work out the LB situation as to who are the 3 that need to be on the field, once that is done we be good, really good!!!

The thing I from the 2nd quarter letdown was that Chief and the staff corrected it at the half. So the young guys are quite coachable, the staff has a better idea of what to work on/adjust going forward. I think we got exactly what you should want out of rent a wins (teachable moments and real game experience) for our young defense. They'll gel before GA and be better than you expect!

They learned from TCU, RB's can get the corner on us.

Poor containment combined with undisciplined pursuit gave the RB his choice of corner or cut back (some of the time).

TCU just did it with read-option.

If LSU hadn't adjusted well, I'd be worried. But having adjusted fairly well, and some 2's and 3's in there, it's not a huge concern. Took them a little long however.
